The ten-month Pardes Year or Semester Program offers young Jewish men and women (post-university students) of diverse backgrounds the opportunity to encounter classic Jewish texts and discuss contemporary Jewish issues in an open, warm and challenging environment. This program is the optimal framework for intensive Jewish study and the exploration of ethical, spiritual, philosophical, legal and societal issues facing individuals, the Jewish people and humanity. Students participate in seminar-style classes and havruta (partner study) and take between 20 and 32 hours of courses per week. Tel Aviv University Law Student Exchange Program

The “Ruach Tova” organization was formed in order to encourage the spirit of volunteering and giving in the Israeli society and be the “go to” place for any person or organization in need of assistance. “Ruach Tova” constitutes a national coordination center for the givers and the receivers, which implement the aspirations of giving and contributing to our fellow-man in accordance to their skill, knowledge, time and ability. “Ruach Tova” acts as a central address for anyone who wishes to volunteer and give, and to anyone who needs help, aid and support. Skilled Volunteers for Israel is a customized volunteer placement service designed for adult professionals 35 years and older. Skilled volunteering is the practice of using work-related knowledge and expertise in a volunteer opportunity that is tied to genuine needs within an organization. Volunteer positions are specifically designed to apply your skills and interests to strategic needs in an Israeli non-profit or educational organization so that your volunteer contribution has a real impact on the organization and its recipients. Our services include matching you with an Israeli organization, developing a comprehensive volunteer position that includes the expectations, responsibilities and schedule associated with your volunteer placement and providing support before and during the volunteer experience. We recommend a minimum time commitment of one month for volunteering. Your volunteer schedule can be adapted to meet your study or travel schedule (example: 10 hours per week, 3 days a week, etc.). Volunteer opportunities can be arranged in places throughout the country, depending on your geographical preference. Volunteers for Israel (Sar-el)
Volunteers for Israel’s mission is to connect Americans to Israel through volunteer service with civilian organizations and the IDF. We offer an opportunity for one, two, or three-week long programs on IDF bases Participants work, eat, and interact daily with Israeli soldiers as well as other volunteers from all over the world. During participants’ time off of the base, they may travel and enjoy all that Israel has to offer. Room and board (kosher) is covered during the work week. It is a wonderful chance to meet and work with Israelis, while actively assisting Israel and remaining as vibrant and wonderful as it is. In addition to volunteering there are organized tours, lectures, and evening programs. This is an opportunity to work hand-in-hand with Israelis, and to see Israel and be in Israel from a very unique perspective. WWOOF: World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms
WWOOF links volunteers with organic farmers, and helps people share more sustainable ways of living. Volunteer on a kibbutz, moshav, farm, or other private family estates for several hours a day five days a week. In return for volunteer help, WWOOF hosts offer food, accommodations, and opportunities to learn about organic lifestyles. Anyone above 18 years old from any nationality can join WWOOF Israel.
