Spending time in nature is one activity students like to do in their spare time or on weekends.
Watch this video to see what some students like to do. It’s called, “Kids – What do you do in your spare time or on weekends?”
Instructors, please share what you like to do on the weekends or in your free time. Encourage students to share what they like to do.
Project the following image (or one like it) on your phone or computer/projector.
Directions to students:
Write four sentences about the picture or another interesting picture that you find. Use the Present Simple tense. Students take turns reading each other’s sentences out loud.
