Join Teach for a Semester, powered by MITF, and spend six months teaching English to Israeli students while traveling throughout the country. No prior teaching experience or knowledge of Hebrew is necessary! This is your chance to empower Israeli youth and explore a city of your choice. Bat Yam

With multiple forms of public transportation operating to and from Yafo and Tel Aviv, Bat Yam is an oasis of peace and quiet outside of the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet still close enough to enjoy the cultural and social nightlife of its closest neighbor.

Netanya

Located only 30 minutes north of Tel Aviv, Netanya serves as a vital social and economic link between the northern and southern parts of Israel. Netanya is home to many start-ups and hi-tech companies.

Rishon LeZion (The First to Zion) is the fourth largest city in Israel, with thriving metropolitan centers, parks, cultural areas, and an active nightlife.

Teach for a Semester: Powered by Masa Israel Teaching Fellows

Teach for a Semester is a partnership of Masa Israel Journey, Israel’s Ministry of Education, and The Jewish Agency for Israel.

Created to bridge the gaps in Israel’s public education system, the program invites talented, English-speaking college graduates to teach English in Israel as teachers’ aides. It’s a challenging, rewarding experience for our Teaching Fellows and a vital investment in Israel’s future.
