Magen David Adom (MDA) in Israel offers an intensive EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) course that trains participants in lifesaving skills, emergency response, and pre-hospital care. Volunteers gain hands-on experience by working on ambulances and assisting in real medical emergencies. While in Israel, participants can also explore different tracks such as Sar-El, a volunteer program supporting the IDF through logistical and medical assistance; Hasbara, which focuses on advocacy and educating others about Israel; and Krav Maga, the renowned Israeli self-defense system that enhances both physical and mental resilience. These experiences provide a well-rounded and immersive way to engage with Israeli society while developing valuable skills.
