Now more than ever Israel needs dedicated long-term volunteers committed to having a sustained impact in her most underserved communities.

The Yahel Social Change Fellowship is a 9-month volunteer program in Israel.

Working alongside local community members, you will be given the tools to enact the real and lasting change so badly needed in this critical moment.

At the same time you’ll travel the country, encountering diverse individuals and perspectives, and diving into the languages, cultures, history, and people that make Israel so special.

All this whilst creating memories and relationships that will last a lifetime!

Basics to Know

1) September 28 2025 – June 30, 2026

2) Cost of the program:

• $1,000 for all participants
• Housing: fully furnished rented Yahel apartments
• Living stipend provided by Yahel: 1,000 NIS/monthly (~$310USD)

3) Language: The program is facilitated in English

4) Eligibility: The fellowship is open to Jews and non-Jews, 22-30, preferred with a college degree, with a proficient level of English

Masa Tlalim is partnering with Standwithus to open a one-of-a kind volunteer and educational opportunity for those who wish to gain practical knowledge in Israeli hasbara. During the program, participants will attend various sessions and seminars as well as volunteer locally in an effort to expand their Israeli based knowledge, to engage them with volunteering and acting and to give them the proper tools to counter misinformation and promote a balanced understanding of Israel’s actions and intentions. This dynamic program is designed to equip the participant with the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively to rising antisemitism all over the world while building your personal connection to Israel

Known as the city of gold, Jerusalem is a magical mix of ancient and modern, where outdoor shuks (markets) rub shoulders with gleaming office towers. The city's most popular spots include a vibrant downtown with world-class restaurants and shopping, and the Old City, a maze of winding alleyways and colorful markets enclosed by walls dating back to the 16th century.

The Top Israel Volunteers Program is dedicated to involving young adults from abroad in supporting Israel's recovery and rebuilding endeavors. This program holds significant importance, offering participants a chance to provide aid and express solidarity with the Jewish people and the state of Israel, countering prevailing anti-Israeli propaganda. Throughout the 4-week program, participants will engage in both individual and group volunteering, allowing them to showcase their unique talents and skills.

This collaborative effort will enable the group to work cohesively towards a shared goal for the benefit of the State of Israel. We present a diverse range of group-based volunteer projects tailored to meet the community's needs, align with recovery efforts, and address the requirements of the Israeli market and society. These projects encompass various initiatives and community development activities, tailored to the skills and interests of the participants. For instance, participants can volunteer in agricultural labor in HaShomer haHadash and Leket Israel. They can also contribute to the Sar El program, supporting the IDF on army bases.Additionally, connections with hotels and communities supporting refugees from Northern and Southern Israel allow for the provision of educational activities and lessons for children. Our collaboration extends to the municipality of Tel Aviv, providing program participants with opportunities to assist in social projects and initiatives. Logistics volunteering, such as packing boxes for soldiers and reservists, is part of our commitment. Language exchange programs between participants and refugees provide an educational and emotional outlet, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

 Compuskills Volunteer is launching a volunteer and leadership learning program.

 Compuskills will coach each student how to engage and interact with the volunteer organization to maximize the volunteer opportunity and to explore leadership opportunities that emerge during and as a result of the volunteer work
