A program that provides a supportive, educational, social and bureaucratic envelope for single soldiers who are new immigrants, by building a core and providing close support starting from the preparation phase, absorption in Israel and their recruitment into the army.

With its city name meaning “fresh” in Hebrew, Raanana provides its residents with exactly that feeling. Designated a “Green City” by the World Health Organization in 2005, Raanana is one of four cities in Israel to have joined the international organization ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability (the other three being Jerusalem, Kfar Saba, and Shoham). In a city like this, there’s enough green space to go around, offering plenty of walking space, trees, sports fields, and more to keep the outdoor mentality alive. Interested in a bit of bustling city life? Raanana is only 20 minutes from Tel Aviv by car, and 40 by train.
Also, you may recognize some of the note-worthy tech giants that have made their home in Raanana, which include Amdocs and Microsoft… If you're interested in placing an internship in Israel, make sure not to gloss over Raanana.
