Masa Volunteers Mentorship Program

The Masa Volunteers: NextGen Mentors program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to make a meaningful impact by mentoring and working with children in Israel. No teaching experience or Hebrew skills are required, making it accessible for anyone eager to contribute. With communities affected by the ongoing war, volunteers provide vital support, offering both educational and emotional guidance to children during this challenging time.

Program Highlights

Weekly Schedule:

Volunteers will spend three days a week mentoring children in the Gush Dan region, while two days a week are dedicated to volunteering with children most directly affected by the events of the war. Volunteers will be provided with guidance and support for their mentor roles.

Living Arrangements:

Volunteers will be based in Tel Aviv, with easy access to transportation across the country, including a train network that connects to various cities.

Special Events:

During the program, volunteers will participate in leadership development activities, including a day at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), as well as a trip to southern Israel for additional volunteer opportunities and cultural immersion.

Program Requirements

You are a Masa Alumni, volunteers must be:

  • Ages 18 – 40 AND have completed at least one year of university studies.
  • Native English Speaking Countries

If not Masa Alumni, volunteers must have:

  • Be ages 30 – 40 AND completed at least one year of university studies.
  • Native English Speaking Countries

A clear background check from the past six months is mandatory. The specific requirements vary by country, and applicants are encouraged to speak with the recruitment team for detailed information.
