Born in Johannesburg, grew up in Melbourne. Talia studied a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in marketing and a bachelor of global studies (majoring in international relations and terrorism), and then went on an exchange program to Sweden. She started her first agency upon returning home to Australia. “At first, I offered services for free. I found myself at the right place at the right time. I started investing in companies, and now I have dozens of employees.” In 2022, Talia was featured on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list for Asia.
Talia owns two social media agencies and has invested in several other companies. When asked how she managed to achieve all of this before 30, she answers: “The Jewish community motivates me a lot. I always have friends who are experts in various fields, and I can consult with them. I don’t feel that people outside the Jewish community have these kinds of opportunities”.
Talia defines herself as a “proud Zionist.” “After October 7, I was already well-known for my positions, and this sparked many conversations. Some people no longer work with us because of these opinions. It’s precisely because of this, because I am a strong voice on social media among young people, that I will continue to support Israel.”

Tell us about Your Work:
For the past six years, I’ve successfully managed two agencies: The Social CliQ and The Content CliQ, both of which I founded.
The Social CliQ is a full-service digital marketing agency dedicated to crafting and executing effective social media strategies.
The Content CliQ focuses on user-generated content and influencer marketing, with a network of over 3,000 creators delivering on-demand content for our clients.
Beyond these ventures, I’ve invested in several eCommerce businesses, including Matcha Maiden and TAPT, and co-founded an elevated lifestyle club, Pretty Privilege.
What is your proudest achievement?
In 2022, I was honored to be nominated for the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list for the marketing category, a recognition that highlights impactful contributions and achievements in the region.
From Forbes: “Datt founded full-service social media and e-commerce marketing agency The Social CliQ out of her home office in Melbourne in 2018. She started by knocking on doors to get her earliest clients and now claims to have significantly expanded the online reach and revenue of multiple brands. Recognizing that consumers were flocking to TikTok amid the pandemic, Datt launched another venture, The Content CliQ, connecting brands to creators all over the world and offering payments for their work. Datt has also invested in local e-commerce brands Tapt, Matcha Maiden and Alivio Wellness”.
How would you describe the impact of your Masa program on your life and professional path?
My Masa gap year program was an incredible opportunity for learning, growth, and self-development.
Taking that year between finishing school and starting university allowed me to reflect deeply and establish my own set of values, which continue to guide me in my future endeavors.
Who is your role model?
I am fortunate to come from a family, social group and fellow employees of very strong women. Therefore, to define a single role model is an impossible task. I surround myself with strong capable women and consequently, regard my mentors as being the sisterhood. They inspire me, support me and motivate me to achieve my goals. By encouraging me to take a chance and be fearless, they have embodied a confidence in me that has a huge impact on my career.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years, I envision myself deeply rooted in the Jewish community, actively contributing, and engaging in meaningful ways.
At the same time, I see myself as a prominent figure in my field, continuing to innovate and grow by consistently building and launching new businesses. My goal is to balance community involvement with entrepreneurial success, leaving a lasting impact in both areas.
What is your advice for young Jews around the world who want to make a difference?
Don’t hesitate to lean on the support of your community. Collaboration and connection can amplify your impact. The Jewish community is your greatest resource, asset, and ally.
