Gigawatt Global Coöperatief U.A. is a multinational renewable energy company focused on the development and management of utility-scale solar fields in emerging markets. With offices and presence in Burundi, Ethiopia, Nigeria, S. Sudan, London and elsewhere, Gigawatt Global has established itself in East Africa, and is in the process of evaluating additional emerging markets for expansion. Gigawatt Global has a long-standing relationship with the World Bank, IFC and OPIC. Gigawatt Global is proud to have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in March 2015.
