This program allows employees to continue working for their organization 3 days a week while learning, networking, and expanding their knowledge, skills, and horizons. It gives both a reprieve from the endless corona grind, keeps employees connected to work and rejuvenates them through connecting with Israel, their purpose and sense of self – all in a growth and training environment. Think of it as a short hybrid sabbatical!
The training component of the program will be composed of 12 full days of learning and a one-weekend retreat. Each learning day will include a mix of formal teaching, group work, personal work, and peer diagnostics exercises where participants will share their own professional challenges for consultation by their peers. The days will be taught by senior leadership trainers and will include presentations by and dialogue with top global diplomats. The leadership development approach of the program is based upon the Adaptive Leadership Framework pioneered by the Harvard Kennedy School.
Each week they will work three days from a shared co-working space. For the remaining two, one day will consist of leadership workshops and the other by attending lectures and seminars with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For one weekend during their six-week stay, they will also join a leadership development retreat in a hotel away from the city noise.
Additional Masa Subsidies for employers are available (pending eligibility, acceptance, and need), for more information contact us: hadas@masaisrael.org.
Participants will have their own bedroom in a shared apartment or hotel. Housing will be located in central Tel Aviv.
