Yad Vashem Evening: Evening of April 23rd
Fellows will have the unique opportunity to hear firsthand testimony from a Holocaust survivor, followed by a processing workshop. In the evening, they will be invited to attend the official state ceremony for Yom HaShoah, featuring speeches by the Prime Minister and the President of Israel. Please be aware that there will be a security check and a waiting period before the ceremony begins. Participation in this activity requires a preparation session for the accompanying staff. Additionally, please note that buses and transportation are the responsibility of the organizer.
ANU Museum Evening: Evening of April 23rd
At the largest Jewish Museum in the world, Masa Fellows will have the chance to explore the resilience and strength of the Jewish people through specially designed tours of the Museum’s interactive exhibits. Following the tour, Fellows will participate in a “Zikaron Basalon” session—an intimate gathering that is part of a global initiative connecting people to the personal stories of Holocaust survivors or second-generation testimonies. The session will be followed with a discussion on the relevance of the Holocaust and Yom HaShoah in post-October 7th world. Please note that transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the organizer.
Yad Vashem Day: Morning of April 24th
On this meaningful day, Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in educational workshops, as part of thematic tracks selected in advance by the organizer. All tracks will conclude with a ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance. Detailed information about the tracks can be found in the registration link.
