It does not matter if your group is at the beginning of its program or is already in full swing. However, they have shown that they all share the willingness to leave their comfort zone behind and enter the unknown.

In many ways, the Jewish High Holidays of Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot enable us to experience this unknown journey and trust the process.

We invite you to use this year’s High Holiday Educational Kit, where you will find diverse activities, reading, and learning options in the sections below. This is an excellent opportunity to engage in dialogue with others and with ourselves.

This year’s High Holiday Educational Kit includes:

We wish you all meaningful holidays filled with excitement for new beginnings and all that accompanies them. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need anything.

This year has shaken our sense of security and identity, from the loss of loved ones to the breakdown of friendships and communities. Since October 7th, nothing feels the same, and many now hesitate to openly express their Jewish identity, fearing for their safety.

The question “How are you?” feels heavier now. But you’re not alone. This notebook is here to help you pause, reflect, and acknowledge how you truly feel. In these times, connecting with yourself – and with others – is an act of resilience.

Fill out and share your reflections by tagging us on Instagram @masaisrael, and let’s remind each other we’re not alone on this journey.

The holiday of Sukkot allows us to appreciate impermanence, trust the process as an engine for growth, and put the physically aside while trying to create a sense of home and belonging in a place thousands of kilometers away from where we grew up.

The session was written in collaboration with Yosefa Drescher, a group facilitator and content developer.

Chevruta, or partnership learning, is the Jewish learning technique.

This method is a dialogue between the participants, which encourages friendly debate and crafts meaning and ownership of the texts.

A successful Chevruta should not only increase one’s knowledge, but also serve as an opportunity for a transformative experience.

Below you can find a collection of engaging texts and discussion questions for the High Holidays.

Encourage your Fellows to expand their perspectives by discussing these texts and questions with an open mind.
