Spending a significant amount of time in Israel on one of these programs provides Masa fellows with a unique opportunity to experience and influence Israeli society, as well as grow both personally and professionally.

Gap Year

A gap year in Israel offers high school graduates the opportunity to gain a taste of independent living - all while having an incredible Israel experience.

Grants and scholarships

Masa Israel works hard to enable every young Jew, from anywhere in the world, to have a meaningful experience in Israel. By making this possible, all Masa fellows are eligible for a grant that goes towards their program participation. The grant varies depending on the age of the participant, country of origin, and length of the chosen program. All of this is made possible through the generous contributions of Masa’s many donors and partners: the Government of Israel, the Jewish Agency for Israel, the Jewish Federations of North America, Keren Hayesod – UJA and more.
