Neve School of General Jewish Studies is designed for women who wish to increase their Jewish knowledge, improve their learning skills, and enhance their spiritual growth. For those with a limited Jewish studies background, Neve provides the basic knowledge necessary to lead a true and meaningful Jewish life. For those with a more extensive background, Neve affords the opportunity to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Jewish texts, a much greater understanding of the Jewish faith, and the skills necessary for independent Torah study. The comprehensive curriculum includes biblical studies, Jewish philosophy, Jewish law, prayer, Jewish history and Hebrew language. Courses in morals ethics and psychology are directed to the needs of the students as women and Jews.

Notre but est de transmettre aux étudiants les capacités et le désir de continuer à apprendre et à mettre en pratique les textes tout au long de leur vie. Les classes se déroulent de façon traditionnelle, caractéristiques de l'enseignement en Yéchiva à savoir l'alternance entre h'évrouta (apprentissage en duo) et le shiour : un enseignement dispensé en classe par un professeur expérimenté et spécialiste du sujet abordé.

You will strengthen your appreciation for the broad spectrum of Torah perspectives by studying the texts upon which these approaches are based. You will form close ties with a diverse and multifaceted faculty, and visit with families representing a range of Torah lifestyles. An approach based on mutual respect and tolerance will make you an advocate for Ahavat Yisrael. Students who receive approval to not live in the dormitory and live off campus receive a $4,000 per year discount or $2,000 per half-year discount (The discount is prorated for the amount of time in the program).

The Academy of Life Training (ALT) is the ideal environment for developing life skills while growing from a great internship in Israel. With housing located in central Jerusalem in quality apartments right near the Machane Yehuda outdoor market, students work at top internships learning valuable working skills, while having a few weekly learning session developing life skills relevant to all areas of one’s life. Evenings are generally free time. The ALT staff show students how to analyze and develop themselves while gaining critical skills in three central areas of life: social, professional, and spiritual life.
