The intern will gain unique hands-on experience working in a leading global intelligence firm run. The internship will allow students to apply the knowledge they learn in the classroom to real-world issues, while the skills acquired during the program will be directly applicable for a career in geopolitical risk analysis.
Upon its completion, internship, participants will receive two credit points.

Interns in the intelligence division assume the responsibilities of gathering information, scanning and researching security related events for tactical reports, building scanning capabilities, maintaining databases, and other tasks based on abilities and company’s needs.

Research assistant, aid in the development of research materials, data analysis, and literature review.

Background in social sciences, experience in data analysis and literature review.

We study viruses and we explore the creative strategies they use to maneuver their host cells. We are interested in deciphering the roles different viral elements are playing during infection, as well as how viruses interface with and commandeercellular pathways to control gene expression. We study these complex interactions using mainly cytomegalovirus (CMV), a herpesvirus that infects the majority of the world’s population, leading to severe diseases in newborns and immunocompromised adults. We anticipate that our studies will uncover new aspects of virus-host interactions, as well as reveal new cell biology principles.
