About Vert
Vert is a young startup, founded in Tel Aviv by Matan Rudis and Osnat Avital. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to low-carbon industry and build tools for a sustainable climate economy. In a nutshell, we’re developing a platform that helps companies in identifying, choosing, buying and financing solutions for carbon reduction – for themselves and their supply chain participants. We use a friendly quantification process to assess carbon intensity, analytic features to identify and optimize solutions, and algorithms to match solutions. Our data platform is open, dynamic and designed for cross-org collaboration, enabling efficiency and transparency.

Your internship
As a business development intern you will work as part of the core team. Your responsibilities will include:
Researching new market opportunities
Defining and experimenting marketing strategies
Interacting with prospective customers from lead to closing

What else to expect from your internship?
As a small and young company, we like to work hard and spend time together. Colleagues are friends and it’s important for us that every team member feels comfortable. We work from Tel Aviv and try to meet on-site most of the time, but we can totally understand it if you choose to take the day from the beach or a caffe (that’s what’s great about Tel Aviv). You will see that you’ll learn a lot and build things that haven’t been done before. While that could be tons of fun, it could easily become confusing and hectic, but that’s how startups are.

In this position you will experience being part of a dynamic international engineering team focused on enhancing marine life on coastal protections and marine structures while complying with all international applicable construction standards. You will help to push forward state of the art Nature inclusive solutions (NIS) and an innovative technology applicable to any marine environment that promotes biodiversity and marine life. You will be in contact with a multidisciplinary team of biologists, civil engineers, designers, concrete specialists and more that will help to enrich your vision of coastal and maritime engineering. You will participate and collaborate on R&D projects that apply ECOncrete Technology.

For this position studies in Civil Engineering with a focus on coastal/maritime engineering or hydraulic engineering are preferred.
A preference of Nature Inclusive Solutions or ecological engineering is well valued. Good English oral and writing and good interpersonal skills are a must.

The External Affairs Department is working with all unites of the organization to gather and offer our knowledge and techniques to the world, and initiate cooperation and projects with other countries and international organizations.
The role will include:
– Writing and editing marketing and digital content for KKL-JNF’s international social media
– Writing official letters and proposals for international projects
– Assistance with production of VIP ceremonies and tours and international events for heads of states, ministers, ambassadors and influencers

Requirements:
– Creative and imaginative thinking
– Excellent English and writing skills
– Familiarity with the content of the environmental and Zionist world
– Experince in producing events – will be an advantage

The Intern would have the opportunity to perform diversified legal tasks, including drafting of various commercial agreements, participation in cross-border negotiations and liaising with the company’s legal counsels worldwide.

• Legal Education (L.L.b, J.D or equivalent)

Process Development Scientist

M.Sc. in Biology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering – must.

· Experience in cell culture work.
Experience in development of new scientific technologies.

· Experience in preparation of process protocols and process development reports.

The Association For Urban Farming is a non-profit organisation that aims to transform urban areas into self-sustaining food systems.

Our goal is to create highly nutritious, locally grown produce that is accessible and available to all.

We have developed a scalable and replicable model to increase local food production and consumption in urban areas. Our platform is one of community engagement and social impact.

Through online and frontal activities we create and manage the necessary infrastructure for food production, including setting up infrastructure, training local activists and businesses. We research and develop new solutions, advise on policy and raise public knowledge and awareness.

Our solutions and services assist governments and municipalities to achieve sustainable development goals and develop resilient cities particularly in marginalised communities that live in food deserts and are already suffering from the food crisis.

Building new use-cases for our growing variety of users
Working with some of our users on optimizing their analytic process
Researching and adding new data sources
Writing customer-facing documentation and educational materials
Providing product-level inputs to our development team
