Event planner intern: responsible for organizing and managing events, bar tours and parties in a variety of aspects. The duties include conceptualizing theme ideas, planning budgets, booking venues, liaising with suppliers and clients, managing logistics, and presenting post-event reports.

 Story-gatherer (Human Interest Stories): Visit projects and collect stories of the impact being made in the field through these programs. Then get the word out to the North American Jewish community and global Jewry about this important work as you experience it firsthand. Stories to be published in various media and utilized in Federation reports. Best for talented writers. Double bonus: can be the « right-hand person » of an ENP field coordinator and use the opportunity to learn Amharic/help young professionals practice English.
 Creative Media: Write a blog, put together an e-newsletter, keep ENP’s Facebook page and tweets current, launch virtual fundraising campaigns, explore new technologies and use your know-how to see how ENP can utilize them to get the word out
 Grant and Report Writer: Learn the important skill of resource development as you assist ENP in its fundraising efforts.
 Tutors/Teachers: Teach English or other subjects to youth. Or help to improve the spoken English skills of young Ethiopian-Israeli professionals.
 Youth Work: Volunteer in Youth Outreach Centers and teach special skills (computers, photography, art, drama, etc—any skills welcome!) to Ethiopian-Israeli teenagers

Our head office is in JRU, but interns can be all over because there are centers for the kids all over Israel Below are the cities in which ENP operates. SA stands for Scholastic Assistance (where tutoring is available) and YOC stands for Youth Outreach Center, where a variety of volunteer opportunities are available. Non-city-specific field assignments can also be arranged (eg pairing with a field supervisor, etc).

The Aguda – Israel’s LGBT Task Force was founded in 1975 as a non-profit organization for the LGBT community.

Since its establishment, the Aguda has striven to improve the LGBT community’s standing in Israel to achieve equal rights and security.
