Spend ten months teaching English in Israel alongside a select group of young adults working hand in hand with Israeli youth. Israel Pathways offers teaching fellowships in Netanya, a beachside community on Israel’s Mediterranean Coast, Be'er Sheva, the heart of Israel's Negev Desert with a vibrant young adult population, or Beit She'an, located in the scenic Galilee.
Israel Pathways is selecting 60 outstanding college graduates to become Israel Teaching Fellows (ITF) for the 10-month session starting in August 2013. ITF participants serve as hands-on educators in classrooms and in small group settings. As Fellows in a public school system, you are not just there to teach, but serve as leaders in making your community a better to place to live, learn, play, and grow.
Israel Teaching Fellows is highly subsidized by Masa Israel Journey and the Israeli Ministry of Education, reducing the program fee to $1000, which includes your round-trip flight, health insurance, and a monthly stipend.
