  MASA to the East  
In the framework of the “Masa to the East” program, Givat Haviva Institute offers five full months of study in a special rural atmosphere. The program is aimed at those aged 18 to 30 who are interested in studying the Arabic language and Middle Eastern Studies. Half the program will be devoted to the study of Arabic (reading, writing and speaking).

Core contents of the program:
1. Studying in one of the best academic institutes in Israel - two languages in one semester – Arabic (classic and spoken) - 456 academic hours and Hebrew – 67 academic hours
2. Involvement in coexistence projects 
3. Leadership skills workshops with top experts
4. Middle Eastern studies, Jewish studies, Minority studies, Zionism studies
5. Enjoying Israeli culture and meeting other young adults
6. Israel adventure – trips and hikes around the country

What is included?

1. Accommodations in double air conditioned rooms in a rural atmosphere.
2. 3 meals a day – 7 days a week.
3. Medical insurance.
4. Fulltime escort during the entire program.
5. Living in a kibbutz community.
6. Kabbalat Shabbat.
